A member of the House of Representatives representing Dawakin-Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituency, Mohamed Hassan, has passed away.
His death was confirmed in a statement released on Friday by his Special Assistant on Media, Muazzam Dawakin-Kudu, who disclosed that the lawmaker died after a brief illness.
The statement read, “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Hon. Barr. M.D. Hassan.”
According to the announcement, the late legislator will be laid to rest on Saturday, April 11, 2026, following funeral prayers scheduled for about 1:30 p.m. at the National Mosque Abuja.

Prayers were also offered in the statement for the forgiveness of his shortcomings and for Allah to grant him Aljannatul Firdaus.
Until his passing, Hassan served as the representative for Dawakin-Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituency and was known for his active involvement in legislative duties at the National Assembly.
