The meeting is being held at the residence of David Mark in Apo and includes leaders from a faction of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Among those present are Tanimu Turaki, Abubakar Malami, Rotimi Amaechi, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Aminu Tambuwal, Peter Obi, Babangida Aliyu, Jerry Gana, and Taofeeq Arapaja.
Sources within both camps revealed that the meeting is focused on exploring collaboration among opposition leaders to challenge Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 elections.

Discussions are also expected to address internal crises within both the ADC and PDP, including leadership disputes, factional divisions, and ongoing legal battles. The leaders are reportedly working to develop a unified strategy while reviewing key national issues affecting the country.
