Former Adamawa State Governor, Mohammed Bindow, has returned to the All Progressives Congress (APC) after leaving the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Bindow completed his re-registration as an APC member in his ward in Mubi, Adamawa State.
He was welcomed back by party leaders, supporters, political associates, friends, family members and other well-wishers.
The exercise was witnessed by the APC Chairman in Mubi, Alhaji Ahmadu Guruja, and many party supporters who gathered to receive the former governor.
Bindow said he decided to return to the APC after consulting with political associates and people close to him.
He explained that his decision was also influenced by his belief in party discipline and his opposition to actions that could weaken a political party from within.
The former governor said he also consulted Vice President Kashim Shettima, whom he described as his brother and a close political associate, before making his final decision.
Bindow also spoke about his recent meeting with President Bola Tinubu, describing it as a friendly discussion.
According to him, the President was pleased with his decision to rejoin the APC.
