NAF Releases List Of Successful Candidates For Recruitment

The Nigerian Air Force has announced that candidates who passed its 2025 Zonal General Aptitude Test will move to the next stage of its recruitment process.

Those who were successful have been invited for the Selection Board Interview for admission into Basic Military Training Course 46/2025.

This update was made public on Wednesday by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Ehimen Ejodame. He disclosed that the names of shortlisted candidates are now available on the Air Force’s official recruitment portal.

The interview exercise is scheduled to take place at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna. It will run from April 27 to June 13, 2026, giving candidates several weeks to attend based on their assigned batches.

Applicants who made the shortlist are expected to report strictly on the dates allocated to them. The Air Force warned that anyone who fails to appear on the assigned day will lose the chance to continue in the recruitment process.

The agency also made it clear that the entire recruitment exercise does not require any payment. Candidates were cautioned against giving money to anyone at any stage, as the process is completely free.

This stage follows the aptitude test conducted in December 2025, which attracted over 20,000 applicants across the country. The exam took place in 15 centres, including Sokoto, Minna, Kaduna, Kano, Bauchi, Maiduguri, Yola, Makurdi, Jos, Ilorin, Ipetu-Ijesa, Enugu, Benin, Port Harcourt and Ikeja.

The Air Force explained that the widespread locations were chosen to give equal access to applicants nationwide. It added that the recruitment process is guided by fairness and strict standards, with the aptitude test serving as a key step in selecting candidates based on merit.
