The All Progressives Congress on Friday elected a new set of national officers during its 4th Elective National Convention held at Eagle Square in Abuja.
At the convention, Nentawe Yilwatda was returned as the National Chairman, while Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru emerged as the National Secretary. Their emergence, along with other executives, was confirmed by the Convention Election Committee through a consensus arrangement.

The event also drew party delegates and stakeholders from across the country, who gathered to elect members of the National Working Committee expected to steer the affairs of the ruling party in the lead-up to future elections.
