The curfew will take effect on Wednesday and will run from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. for an initial period of 48 hours.
The affected areas are located around the Old Oyo National Park, where victims of the May 15 attack on three schools in Oriire Local Government Area are believed to be held captive.
A total of 46 people, including 39 schoolchildren and seven teachers, were reportedly kidnapped during the attack.
The State Commissioner for Information, Dotun Oyelade, announced the directive in a statement on Tuesday.
