Peter Okoye, formerly part of the popular music duo P-Square, has refuted allegations made by his twin brother, Paul Okoye, regarding his involvement in their elder brother Jude Okoye’s ongoing legal troubles.
Jude, who previously managed P-Square, was recently arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over an alleged ₦1.38 billion fraud case. Following the development, Paul accused Peter of being responsible for Jude’s ordeal, claiming, “Peter is the one putting Jude through this… I’m here to bring him out.”
However, Peter’s manager, Emem Kush, dismissed the accusations, clarifying that Peter had no role in the legal proceedings against Jude. According to Kush, the case is strictly between the EFCC and Jude Okoye.
“Peter didn’t drag anybody to the EFCC. The petition was against the company that has been receiving funds on his behalf,” Kush stated, distancing his client from the controversy.
