Adeniyi Adeyemi, convener of the disputed Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), is expected to appear before the Federal High Court in Abuja on July 27, 2027, over allegations of forgery and impersonation.

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) filed an eight-count charge against Adeyemi and two others identified only as Femi and Anu on November 27, 2025.

According to the charge sheet, the surnames of the two other defendants were listed as “unknown,” while they were said to be at large.

The charges were filed by Wisdom Madaki, a prosecuting counsel at the Directorate of Legal Services, Force Headquarters, Abuja.

In the charge, the police accused Adeyemi and the two others of forging presidential letterheaded papers.

They also alleged that the defendants forged a request for collaboration relating to land requisition and offices across the 36 states of the federation, purportedly issued from the State House, Abuja.

The Presidency had earlier said the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila, alerted the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Nigeria Police Force in October 2025 after complaints that the purported agency was operating alongside the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC).
