In a heated revelation, Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B announced the name of her third child with estranged husband Offset during an X Spaces session on Friday, May 30, 2025.

The couple, whose rollercoaster relationship has been under public scrutiny, welcomed their third child, named Blossom, in September 2024. However, the joyous news has been overshadowed by ongoing divorce proceedings and public accusations, shedding light on the strained dynamics between the two artists.

Cardi B, born Belcalis Almánzar, shared the name of her newborn during an emotional outburst on X Spaces, where she accused Offset, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, of neglecting their youngest child.

According to Cardi, Offset has only seen Blossom “like five times” since her birth on September 7, 2024. The “I Like It” rapper expressed frustration, claiming Offset had also “stood up” their children multiple times, including missing visits since March 2025. “Kiari is allowed to see my kids. There is not one day that he’s not allowed to see my kids,” Cardi stated passionately, emphasizing her desire for her children, including Blossom, to feel their father’s love.

The couple’s ongoing divorce, initiated by Cardi in July 2024, has added fuel to their public disputes. During the X Spaces session, Cardi lashed out at Offset’s request for spousal support, a move she described as retaliatory. “The only reason this nigga is asking for spousal support is because I was asking for everything,” she said, her voice laced with anger.

In a particularly heated moment, she expressed deep resentment, stating, “I want you to die. But I want you to die slow.” Despite the vitriol, Cardi maintained that she has never restricted Offset’s access to their children, noting that he speaks to them nearly every day.

Cardi and Offset, a member of the rap trio Migos, share two other children: daughter Kulture, 6, and son Wave, 3. The couple announced Blossom’s arrival on Instagram on September 12, 2024, with a carousel of heartwarming images from the hospital.

The public feud and divorce proceedings have cast a shadow over what should be a celebratory time for the family. Cardi’s decision to file for divorce in July 2024 marked another chapter in the couple’s rocky relationship, which has seen multiple breakups and reconciliations since their marriage in 2017.

The spousal support dispute, combined with Cardi’s allegations of Offset’s absence as a father, highlights the deep-seated tensions between the two.
