The founder of LoveWorld Incorporated, popularly known as Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, has shared what he described as a spiritual revelation concerning Nigeria’s 2027 presidential election.
Speaking during a church service in a video that has circulated online, the cleric said he received insights about three leading presidential contenders ahead of the next general election.
Pastor Chris stated that he has respect and admiration for all three individuals, noting that they have each contributed to the development of Nigeria. However, he said he felt compelled to speak about what he claimed to have seen spiritually concerning their presidential ambitions.
According to him, the first candidate appeared to be under the influence of what he described as a dark spiritual force.
“Each one of them is somebody that I have great respect for. Make no mistakes about it, I like these guys. These are wonderful people who have done a lot for our country,” he said.
The cleric added that while praying, he received further impressions about the candidate, whom he said was referred to spiritually as a “jackal.”
“Today when I was praying, the spirit called him a name. I was surprised because he said the jackal is cut off. I said jackal? I thought I knew the meaning of jackal.
“I had to go into the dictionary to find what is a jackal. Why they call him a jackal. What is a jackal? It means a trickster, a swindler, and one that operates on behalf of another for the purpose of deception,” he stated.
Speaking on the second candidate, Pastor Chris said he was shown a troubling vision regarding the individual’s potential emergence as president.
“The second one, I said, ‘What about him?’ He said, ‘If you let him get into office, you will have no country.’ I said, ‘Lord, if we let the second one into office, we will have no country?’ He said, ‘You will have no country,’” he said.
The cleric also spoke about a third candidate, describing him as someone who appeared fearful about the outcome of the election.
“Then, in the spirit, I saw the third one. He was afraid. He was afraid he might win. He was afraid of losing, but he was almost scared of winning. I pray to the God of heaven, give him wings to fly,” he stated.
Pastor Chris explained that he deliberately avoided mentioning the identities of the first and second candidates, citing the sensitivity of his position as a religious leader.
“When it comes to elections, because of the sensitivity of our position, because I say they are all my children spiritually, I try not to. But if I see something that I’ve seen, I cannot say I didn’t see it.
“But the first one, because of what it was, I won’t mention the name, neither will I mention the name of the second. But the third one, his name is in the Bible, so I want you to pray for your country,” he added.
His comments come as political activities ahead of the 2027 general election continue to attract public attention, with political parties and potential candidates positioning themselves for what is expected to be a highly contested race.
