Former federal lawmaker who represented Adamawa Central in the 8th National Assembly, Abdulaziz Nyako, has left the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Nyako announced his decision on Sunday and has now joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

The former senator, popularly known as Commander, left the ADC only a few months after joining the party because of internal factions within the Adamawa State chapter.
Speaking to journalists, the Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri, said that after taking control of the ruling party in the state, it became necessary to bring leaders like Nyako into the party.
The governor also confirmed that the former lawmaker is now a card-carrying member of the APC.
