The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has lowered the price of petrol at its retail stations.
This comes shortly after a price change by the Dangote Refinery.
The adjustment was observed on March 30, 2026, as filling stations owned by the national oil company in Abuja reduced the pump price to N1,295 per litre, down from N1,361.
This shows a drop of N71 per litre across its outlets.
The development followed a recent change by Dangote Refinery, which lowered its gantry price by N85, bringing it down to N1,200 per litre from N1,285 just three days earlier.
Despite this, some fuel marketers have not made similar changes.
A filling station linked to Dangote has continued to sell petrol at N1,367 per litre at the time of the report.
Other outlets, including Ranoil, Empire Energy, Emedab, and TotalEnergies, have also kept their prices unchanged, with petrol selling between N1,370 and N1,395 per litre.
