Renowned Nigerian musician Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, has openly professed his love for Edo State lawmaker, Honourable Natasha Osawaru, stating his intention to marry her.
The singer made this revelation in a video posted on his Instagram account on Wednesday morning, amidst his ongoing divorce from his wife, Annie Idibia.
Speculation surrounding 2Baba’s relationship with Osawaru grew after he was seen at the Edo State Assembly on Monday, followed by a viral clip of the two at a Lagos nightclub.
Addressing the rumors in his video, 2Baba expressed his frustration over the false narratives circulating about him.
“I’ve seen so many things—false stories, malicious talk. And yes, I posted what I posted. Anyone with sense will understand. But for those spreading misinformation without knowing the truth, I salute you. Your lives must be perfect,” he remarked.
The singer also defended Osawaru, clarifying that she had no role in his marital troubles despite being dragged into the controversy.
“Hon. Natasha has been insulted, called names, and accused of breaking my home,” 2Baba stated.
“She is a brilliant and amazing woman, and she has nothing to do with my issues with Annie. Yes, I love her. She’s amazing, she’s cool, and I want to marry her.”
He concluded by humorously suggesting that authorities should intervene to curb the spread of baseless online allegations.
