The OK Movement has appointed Dr. Muhammad Hamisu as its National Secretary as preparations continue for the 2027 general elections.

The movement announced the appointment in a post shared on its verified X handle on Wednesday.

2027: OK Movement Appoints National Secretary

The post described Hamisu as a cybersecurity expert and a prominent member of the Kwankwasiyya Movement.

“The OK Movement is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Muhammad Hamisu as its National Secretary.

“A distinguished cybersecurity expert and prominent member of the Kwankwasiyya Movement, His dedication to grassroots development, inclusive governance, and national service makes him a valuable addition to the leadership of the OK Movement. Nigeria Will Be OK,” the post read.

Hamisu’s appointment is the third major leadership announcement made by the movement in recent days.

Earlier, the OK Movement appointed former Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) Chairman, Peter Ameh, as its National Director-General.

The movement also named the Director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thought, Sam Amadi, as the Head of its Advisory Council.

The OK Movement is a political platform made up of supporters of Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso, the presidential candidates of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2027 general elections.
