Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen has reportedly reached personal terms with Premier League side Manchester United ahead of a possible move in the upcoming summer transfer window.
This was revealed by respected Turkish journalist Serdar Çelikler.
“Victor Osimhen has reached an agreement with Manchester United. But there is also the club side of the matter,” Çelikler said on a podcast.
Manchester United are reportedly seeking a prolific striker to bolster their attack following Rasmus Hojlund’s underwhelming season.
Osimhen, who is currently on loan at Turkish side Galatasaray from Napoli, has been in sensational form this season, scoring 29 goals and registering six assists in 34 appearances across all competitions.
United manager Ruben Amorim is understood to want struggling Hojlund gone in the summer.
While the personal terms have reportedly been agreed, Man United need to strike a deal with Napoli for Osimhen’s signature.
Although Osimhen has a release clause of €75 million (£63 million), reports suggest that Napoli may be willing to offer a discount to facilitate the deal.
