On Thursday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived in Kaduna State for a one-day working visit centered on commissioning a wide array of developmental projects aimed at transforming the state’s rural and urban infrastructure.

Touching down at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna, the President was warmly welcomed by Governor Uba Sani, members of the state executive council, traditional leaders, and other prominent dignitaries. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation as the President began his official tour almost immediately after his arrival.

President Tinubu’s first stop was Rigachikun, a community in Igabi Local Government Area, where he is slated to inaugurate various critical infrastructure projects.

Among the projects awaiting his official commissioning are newly constructed road networks, modern healthcare facilities, and upgraded educational institutions, all forming part of a larger development agenda spearheaded by the Kaduna State Government.

These projects are viewed as a vital part of Governor Uba Sani’s administration’s commitment to deepening rural development and expanding residents’ access to vital public services. The strategic rollout of these initiatives is expected to boost socio-economic growth and foster improved living standards across the region.

Throughout Kaduna metropolis and adjoining communities, security presence was significantly heightened. A combined task force consisting of the Nigerian Police Force, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), and military personnel was deployed to ensure public safety and maintain order during the high-profile presidential visit.
