Actress Regina Daniels has deactivated her Instagram account following rumors surrounding her marriage to Ned Nwoko. Speculation arose that Nwoko has welcomed a child with another actress, Chika Ike.
Vanguard confirmed that Regina’s Instagram account has vanished from the platform, just after her return from London, where she attended the premiere of Ayo Makun’s movie The Waiter.
The rumors surrounding the actress’s marriage intensified when Regina did not celebrate her husband on Valentine’s Day. Additionally, she has yet to comment on Nwoko’s recent defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Chika Ike announced on February 10 that she was expecting her first child, sharing images of her baby bump on Instagram.
Social media reactions have sparked debates, with some users suggesting that Regina was aware of the dynamics of her marriage. One commenter stated, “But why is Regina surprised? She knew what she was getting into.” Another remarked, “How can wife number six be upset about wife number seven, when wife number five didn’t react?”
Ned Nwoko, a Muslim, is allowed to marry multiple wives, and it is rumored that he has six wives, though only Regina Daniels and Moroccan Laila Charani are publicly known.
