Davido Calls Out Osun State Police Commissioner Over Rule of Law Violation

Nigerian musician David Adedeji Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has publicly criticized the Osun State Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Umar Abba, accusing him of disregarding the rule of law.

His outburst comes in response to the violent unrest in Osun State on Monday, which led to the tragic killing of Remi Abass, the sacked chairman of Irewole Local Government, along with two others. The victims were shot dead by unidentified gunmen at the local government secretariat in Ikire.

Taking to his Instagram page, Davido did not hold back, warning that he would continue to publicly call out the police commissioner until he either upholds the law or is removed from office.

“Mr. Commissioner, respect the rule of law!!! You are not madder or crazier than us!! Make we all kuru mad!! MEN MOUNT WALAI TO KRF!!! I will post you every day everywhere, Mr. man!!! Try me,” he wrote.

In another post, he intensified his stance: “MAN STEP ASIDE!!! Game on!!! Oya men mount!! WHY ARE YOU GOING AGAINST THE RULE OF LAW!! I will post you every day till they sack you!!! You think say na only you mad abi? I mad pass.”

Expressing his frustration, Davido went further to brand the police commissioner as a “disgrace” and vowed to keep exposing him.

“Mr Umar Abba, Osun State commissioner, u are a disgrace to ur children!! !!! Game on FUCKER!!!! All of us go mad together!! Werey!!!” he wrote.

The singer’s outburst has since sparked reactions, with many closely watching how the situation unfolds between Davido and the Osun State Police Command.
