Bayern Munich continued their flawless run this season, scoring three times in the final half hour to seal a 3-0 victory over 10-man Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday, keeping them five points clear at the top of the Bundesliga.
Goals from Joshua Kimmich, Raphael Guerreiro, and 17-year-old Lennart Karl ensured Bayern made it 13 wins from 13 in all competitions this season. It was only the second time that Harry Kane, who had a goal disallowed for offside, failed to find the net.

Gladbach’s night turned sour early when Jens Castrop was shown a straight red card after a VAR review for a dangerous challenge on Luis Diaz in the 19th minute. Despite the numerical advantage, Bayern struggled to find rhythm after making six changes, including giving Jonas Urbig a start in place of captain Manuel Neuer.
Kimmich finally broke the deadlock in the 64th minute with a powerful strike through a crowded box, before Guerreiro finished off a superb team move five minutes later. Gladbach’s hopes faded completely when Kevin Stoeger struck the post from the penalty spot.
Karl then capped off the win with a stunning curling effort nine minutes from time, further underlining Bayern’s dominance this season.

Elsewhere, RB Leipzig demolished Augsburg 6-0 away, with six different players getting on the scoresheet—Yan Diomande, Romulo, Antonio Nusa, Christoph Baumgartner, Assan Ouedraogo, and Castello Lukeba. The emphatic result cemented Leipzig’s place in second, four points ahead of third-placed Stuttgart, and handed Augsburg their heaviest-ever home defeat.
Leipzig have now taken 19 of a possible 21 points since their opening-day 6-0 loss to Bayern, conceding just three goals in that period.
Eintracht Frankfurt returned to winning ways with a 2-0 home victory over St. Pauli, as Jonathan Burkardt struck twice to continue his fine form—the Germany international has now scored six goals in seven league matches.

Wolfsburg ended their winless streak stretching back to August with a 1-0 triumph at Hamburg, courtesy of Adam Daghim’s first-half goal. Hamburg’s Ransford-Yeboah Koenigsdoerffer endured another frustrating outing, missing a penalty for the third consecutive time.
Meanwhile, Hoffenheim secured a 3-1 victory over Heidenheim, and Borussia Dortmund had the chance to climb to third later in the evening with a win over Cologne.
