Iniabasi Godswill Akpabio, daughter of Senate President Godswill Akpabio, has been appointed Akwa Ibom State Director of the City Boy Movement.
The announcement was made on Thursday by the group’s national leadership in a brief message shared on its verified X account.
According to the group, the decision is part of its plan to grow its presence at the grassroots and expand youth-focused activities, particularly across the South-South region.
In her new role, Iniabasi will oversee the movement’s activities in Akwa Ibom State. She is expected to lead coordination efforts, engage young people, and strengthen the group’s connection with communities across the state.
Her appointment comes at a time when political groups are working to build stronger structures and increase support ahead of future elections.
The movement expressed trust in her ability to lead, noting that her role is expected to bring fresh direction and boost its operations in Akwa Ibom.
