Rapper Odumodublvck Snubs Rufai Oseni’s Interview Invitation

Odumodublvck has turned down a public invitation from Arise TV anchor Rufai Oseni to appear on air and respond to claims made by Blaqbonez during a recent sit-down interview, choosing instead to use the moment to question the presenter’s credentials.

Oseni, known for his combative interviewing style and a reputation for holding public figures to account on his Arise TV program, had extended the offer directly on social media, framing it as a fair chance for Odumodublvck to set the record straight.

“We encourage you to come say your own side of the story! We will be happy to welcome you!” he wrote, in what read as a fairly standard journalistic overture, the kind of right-of-reply gesture broadcasters routinely extend when one party in a public dispute has already had their say.

But the rapper’s response was anything but standard. Rather than engaging with the substance of the invitation, Odumodublvck zeroed in on a spelling error in his stage name, using it to dismiss Oseni’s professionalism outright.

“It’s ODUMODUBLVCK, sir. You cannot even spell my name right, and you want to talk to me. I am so sorry, but you are a terrible journalist, sir,” he fired back a rebuke that doubled as both an insult and, effectively, a rejection of the platform itself.

He didn’t stop there. Rather than shutting the door on telling his side of the story altogether, Odumodublvck signalled he’d take the matter elsewhere: “I will go and tell someone else, my boss man,” leaving open the possibility that a response to Blaqbonez is still coming, just not through Arise TV.

At the centre of the standoff is a far more serious allegation than a spelling error. The feud stems from claims made by Odumodublvck accusing Blaqbonez of sexual abuse and harassment. Blaqbonez has firmly denied.

Blaqbonez’s interview, the one Oseni was inviting a response to, appears to have been his own attempt to publicly address those claims, setting up the current standoff over whether and where Odumodublvck will respond in kind.

For now, the ball is in Odumodublvck’s court. Whether “someone else” refers to a rival network, a podcast, or simply his own social media channels remains unclear, and neither he nor Blaqbonez has offered further public comment beyond what’s already on record.

Given the seriousness of the underlying allegations and the public appetite already stirred by Blaqbonez’s interview, pressure is likely to mount on Odumodublvck to clarify his claims, regardless of which platform he eventually chooses.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

At its core, this isn’t really a story about grammar; it’s a deflection. Odumodublvck used a minor spelling error to avoid engaging with a legitimate invitation to respond to serious sexual abuse and harassment allegations he made against Blaqbonez, allegations Blaqbonez denies.

Until Odumodublvck actually addresses the claims on record wherever he chooses to do so, the substance of the dispute remains unresolved, and the public is left with denial on one side and silence on the other.
