The Edo State Police Command has rescued two kidnapped victims following intensified security operations across affected communities in Edo State.

In a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, Eno Ikoedem, the Commissioner of Police, Monday Agbonika, directed increased security deployment and intelligence-led policing in response to rising kidnapping incidents around the Izakagbo/Iwu axis.

The operation led to a gun duel, during which two victims, Musibau Kehinde Tracy (24) and Edewor John (39), were successfully rescued without injuries.
