What you should know
The West African Examinations Council introduced the Computer-Based WASSCE to improve efficiency, reduce delays, and minimize errors associated with manual processes.
Unlike the traditional paper-based format, the CB-WASSCE allows for quicker marking and faster result release. This innovation is particularly beneficial for private candidates who often require timely results for academic or career advancement.
The 12-hour access window signals a major improvement in WAEC’s operations and reflects its shift toward a more digital and responsive examination system.
