Bruno Fernandes Rejects Al-Hilal’s Lucrative Offer, Commits to Manchester United

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has turned down a substantial contract offer from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, opting instead to remain at Old Trafford.

This was confirmed by renowned Italian sports journalist Fabrizio Romano via his official X account on Tuesday.

“Despite crazy contract proposal from the Saudi Pro League club, Bruno Fernandes wants to continue playing football in Europe,” Romano reported.

“Man United Captain wants to play at top level in Europe. Decision made.”

The Portuguese midfielder’s decision underscores his commitment to staying at the highest level of European football, despite growing interest from Saudi clubs seeking marquee international signings.

Fernandes, who has been pivotal for United since his arrival in 2020, remains a key figure as the club looks to rebuild under manager Erik ten Hag.
