The Chairman of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has refuted claims circulating on social media that he issued a 21-day ultimatum to the Federal Government demanding the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
In a statement released by his media consultant, Paul Bebenimibo, Tompolo described the report as “false and mischievous,” stressing that he has no involvement whatsoever in matters relating to Nnamdi Kanu or any similar issue.

“We wish to state unequivocally that High Chief Ekpemupolo did not author or sanction the said publication. It is the handiwork of detractors attempting to discredit him because of his firm stance against illegal crude oil activities in the Niger Delta region. These individuals have failed and will continue to fail, as Tompolo remains committed to eradicating oil theft and pipeline vandalism,” the statement partly read.
Reaffirming his unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, Tompolo, through his spokesperson, declared his full backing for the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda and further expressed confidence in the President’s leadership, even endorsing him for a second term.

The statement also called on the Federal Government and the general public to disregard the misleading report, emphasizing that it does not represent Tompolo’s views or any official communication from him or his company.
