Tinubu Reaffirms Commitment to Nigerian Workers on 2025 Labour Day

President Bola Tinubu has reiterated his administration’s unwavering dedication to enhancing the welfare of Nigerian workers, recognising their indispensable role in shaping the country’s progress.

In a message shared via his official X account on Thursday to commemorate the 2025 Workers’ Day celebration, the President saluted the contributions of employees across both public and private sectors, describing them as central to Nigeria’s economic engine and future.

To every Nigerian worker,

Happy Worker’s Day.

You are the engine of our economy and the secret to our nation's growth.

Our administration has and will continue to prioritise workers' welfare. Together, we will make Nigeria great again.

“To every Nigerian worker, Happy Workers’ Day. You are the engine of our economy and the secret to our nation’s growth. Our administration has and will continue to prioritise workers’ welfare. Together, we will make Nigeria great again,” Tinubu stated.

The president further acknowledged the diverse efforts made by individuals from all walks of life, expressing gratitude for their contributions to both local communities and the nation at large.

“Here’s to everyone – young and old, entrepreneur or employee, in the private or public sector – whose meaningful contributions help in no small way to the development of our homes, communities, and our dear nation. Happy Workers’ Day, Nigeria,” said Tinubu.
