Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, has approved the redeployment of four commissioners in a cabinet reshuffle.
The changes were announced in a statement issued by the Secretary to the Taraba State Government, Gebon Kataps, in Jalingo.
According to the statement, the new postings took effect immediately.
Peter George, who was the Commissioner for Commerce, Trade and Industry, has been moved to the Ministry of Water Management and Aquatic Affairs.
Philip Habu James, who previously headed the Ministry of Social Development and Human Services, will now take charge of Commerce, Trade and Industry.
Daniel Ishaku, the former Commissioner for Water Management and Aquatic Affairs, has been redeployed to the Ministry of Waste Management and Resource Innovation.
Bernard Shonzen James Kassa, who previously headed Waste Management and Resource Innovation, will now oversee the Ministry of Social Development and Human Services.
The governor directed the affected commissioners to immediately begin work in their new ministries.
Kefas also wished them success as they take on their new responsibilities.
