Nigerian rapper Darlington Okoye, widely recognized as Speed Darlington, has opened up about his recent celebrity boxing match loss against singer Portable, born Habeeb Badmus Okikiola.

The highly publicized bout took place early Saturday at Lagos’ Balmoral Events Centre. The match ended abruptly in the first round when Speed, injured and unable to continue, conceded defeat. Portable was declared the winner, while Speed exited the ring bandaged and required ambulance transport for medical attention.

Hours later, Speed Darlington took to social media to explain his loss, hinting that his opponent must have used ‘juju.’ He said Portable must have used ‘juju’ (black magic) because I couldn’t tell what was happening in the ring during the fight.

The rapper also stated that he dislocated his shoulder because he was swinging wide, insisting he didn’t get tired.
Speedy voiced his frustration over losing the prize money to Portable, mentioning that he had planned to use the money to build a swimming pool in his village.
