Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has urged the international community to take decisive action to stop Israeli aggression in Gaza and ensure peace and stability in the region, in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions.
The Crown Prince made the call on Saturday during his speech at the Annual Hajj reception held at Mina Palace, according to a report by the News Agency of Nigeria.
He underscored the Kingdom’s unwavering commitment to protecting innocent civilians and championing a peaceful resolution for Palestine, in line with long-standing global consensus on a two-state solution.
“This appeal highlights Saudi Arabia’s commitment to addressing the ongoing conflict and promoting stability in the region,” Prince Mohammed stated.
Reiterating the Kingdom’s dedication to Islam and the welfare of Muslims worldwide, the Crown Prince also praised Saudi efforts in facilitating Hajj rituals with ease and comfort. He stressed the importance of maintaining security and stability not just within Muslim nations, but across the globe.
The reception was attended by prominent dignitaries, including Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani and Maldivian President Dr Mohamed Muizzu.
Also speaking at the event, the Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, highlighted significant achievements from this year’s Hajj season, including the launch of new energy initiatives and major infrastructure improvements to support pilgrims.
