PDP Reinstates Senator Samuel Anyanwu as National Secretary at 100th NEC Meeting

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has officially reinstated Senator Samuel Anyanwu as its National Secretary following resolutions reached during the party’s 100th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held on Monday in Abuja.

Acting National Chairman, Umar Damagum, confirmed the development while addressing journalists shortly after the meeting. According to Damagum, Anyanwu’s reinstatement was formally ratified by the NEC.

He also disclosed that the party’s 101st NEC meeting has been slated for July 23, where final preparations for the party’s forthcoming national convention will be concluded.

Senator Samuel Anyanwu, who previously faced internal disputes over his position, has been reinstated as PDP National Secretary by the party’s highest decision-making body, signalling a move towards internal stability ahead of the party’s national convention in July.
