The family of Prince Eniola Ojajuni, the National President of the Afenifere National Youth Council, is urgently appealing for public assistance to meet a ransom demand of N100 million.

In a trending video released on Monday, Ojajuni, visibly distressed, pleaded for help as a kidnapper pointed an AK-47 at his chest. “Nigerians, please help me! Your donation—N100,000, N50,000, or N1,000,000—can go a long way in saving my life,” he implored, adding, “My name is Prince Eniola Ojajuni. God bless you. Aderohunmu, please help me spread this video.”

The situation was confirmed by the National Secretary of the Council, Abiodun Aderohunmu, who stated that Ojajuni had been abducted in Abuja and that the kidnappers had set an ultimatum of 48 hours to raise N100 million for his release.

The family’s negotiations revealed a tense exchange: when they pleaded further, “Please, can you accept N10 million? That’s all we can raise,” the kidnapper responded, “God forbid bad things. If you continue talking nonsense, I swear to Almighty God you won’t hear from me again. The last price my boss gave me is N100 million, but if you can raise something better, let me know.” As the family continued to plead, the kidnappers threatened to inflict further harm on Prince Ojajuni.

Despite the gravity of the situation, the Nigeria Police Force has yet to comment on the ongoing efforts by its operatives to free Ojajuni from his abductors.
