This declaration was made by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, in a statement issued on Monday through the ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Magdalene Ajani.

Tunji-Ojo extended his congratulations to all members of the Muslim Ummah both within Nigeria and abroad on the occasion of the significant Islamic festival.

He encouraged the Muslim community to uphold the values of sacrifice and unwavering faith as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (Peace be upon Him), and to take advantage of the holy period to pray for a united, peaceful, and thriving Nigeria.
