Cardi B Confirms Split from Stefon Diggs While Defending Him Against Rival’s Insults

In a fiery on-stage moment that doubled as both a public breakup confirmation and a fierce defense of her former partner, Cardi B addressed her relationship status with NFL star Stefon Diggs for the first time during her “Little Miss Drama Tour” stop in Los Angeles.

The Grammy-winning rapper’s revelation came amid escalating tensions with fellow artist BIA, who appeared to take aim at Diggs on social media earlier this week. BIA posted a cryptic message reading, “Can u name someone with more bms than receiving yards? I can! and I know that… ykwnvm,” which fans and observers quickly interpreted as a thinly veiled shot at the New England Patriots wide receiver’s personal life—the “bms” likely referring to “baby mamas.”

Rather than firing back through social media channels, Cardi B chose a more theatrical approach, waiting until she commanded the stage to address the situation directly. In a moment that has since gone viral, the “Bodak Yellow” artist made her position unmistakably clear.

“Let me tell you somethin’, just because I ain’t fin’ with my baby daddy doesn’t mean you get to talk about my baby daddy, b**! This for you, b***!” Cardi declared from the stage, before launching into a performance of “Pretty & Petty,” a diss track widely believed to target BIA.

The dramatic exchange serves dual purposes: it publicly confirms what had been the subject of widespread speculation for over a week—that Cardi and Diggs have indeed ended their relationship—while simultaneously drawing a firm boundary around who is permitted to comment on that split.

The former couple welcomed their child together in November, making the relationship relatively short-lived in the public eye. Despite the breakup, Cardi’s fierce defense of Diggs sends a clear message: their personal split does not grant others, particularly long-standing rivals, carte blanche to disrespect him.

The incident adds another chapter to the ongoing feud between Cardi B and BIA, a rivalry that has simmered in the hip-hop community for some time. By choosing to address BIA’s comments in such a public forum during her tour, Cardi has ensured that this latest clash will dominate headlines and social media conversation in the coming days.

As the “Little Miss Drama Tour” continues across the country, fans and media alike will be watching to see whether BIA responds to Cardi’s on-stage rebuke, and whether this latest exchange will escalate the feud further.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

Cardi B has confirmed her split from NFL player Stefon Diggs—but made it clear that ending their relationship doesn’t give anyone, especially her rival BIA, permission to disrespect him.

Despite their breakup just months after welcoming a baby in November, Cardi publicly defended Diggs during her Los Angeles tour stop, proving that co-parenting boundaries matter more than beef.
