Ahead of the November 8 governorship election in Anambra State, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has called on its members to remain united and focused on ensuring victory at the polls.
The party’s governorship candidate, John Nwosu, made this appeal during a meeting with supporters in Orumba South Local Government Area.
Nwosu underscored the importance of teamwork and collective effort, urging party members to expand the ADC’s support base across the state. “Let us work together as a team so that we can win the election. Ben Nwosu, a member of the ADC Governorship Campaign Council and former Deputy Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, advised members to remain vigilant and collaborate with law enforcement agencies to ensure a transparent and peaceful election. “Co-operate with the police and other security agencies to ensure a free, fair and peaceful election,” he urged.
Similarly, the ADC Women Leader for Orumba South LGA, Amara Onuebu, affirmed the readiness of women in the area, noting that they have been well mobilised to vote for the party. “The women in this area have been well mobilised to vote for the party in the election and we are confident that we will win,” she stated.
