A Lagos State High Court has barred Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin (Elizabeth Lawal) from publishing or circulating photos of Priscilla Ojo and Juma Jux’s one-year-old son, deepening a public feud now nearing two years.

The ex-parte order was handed down on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, by Justice Yetunde Adesanya of the Lagos State High Court, Lagos Judicial Division, in a suit numbered LD/ADR/6646/2026.

The action was brought jointly by Priscilla Ojo, named in court papers as Mrs. Priscilla Ajoke Ojo Mkambala, her husband, Juma Mussa Mkambala, and their infant son, identified in the filing as Master Rakeem Mkambala, against Anjorin.

Details of the order became public on Friday when Priscilla shared a certified true copy on her Instagram page.

According to the document, the court restrained Anjorin, whether acting personally or through agents, privies, representatives, employees, or anyone operating under her authority, from posting the child’s images across her social media platforms, specifically naming Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and TikTok.

The order went further than a blanket restriction, expressly listing several accounts allegedly connected to the actress, including @lizzyanjorin_originallawal, @lizzyanjorin_original, @lizzyanjorin_legal_mrslawal, @yeyemesho_luxuryfabric1, and a Facebook page identified as Lizzyanjorin2, an indication that the applicants anticipated attempts to circumvent the order through alternate or secondary accounts.

Beyond the photo restriction, the court also barred Anjorin from publishing or broadcasting any “editorials” concerning the applicants on the same platforms, pending determination of a substantive Motion on Notice already before the court. Both restraints remain in force only as interim measures while the underlying suit proceeds.

Because the application was heard ex parte without Anjorin present or given the opportunity to respond, the order was granted solely on the strength of the applicants’ presentation, a standard practice for urgent interim applications where the applicants argue that advance notice to the other side could defeat the purpose of the relief sought.

The court has since directed that the case file be returned to the Registry of the Lagos State High Court for reassignment to the appropriate division for further hearing. The order was signed and sealed by Legal Registrar Omokhudu-Omahoin Onivenu.

Friday’s development is the latest chapter in a bitter, protracted dispute between Anjorin and the family of veteran actress Iyabo Ojo, Priscilla’s mother.

The feud has largely played out in public, across social media, over the past two years, and has already produced significant legal fallout: Iyabo Ojo previously filed a ₦1 billion defamation suit against Anjorin over comments made during the dispute.

The latest injunction appears to have been triggered by claims that Anjorin made recent public statements in which she questioned the parentage of Priscilla and Juma Jux’s son, asserting that the family has not corroborated them, and which the court action seeks to curtail.

The child, whose full name is Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala, was born in Canada in August 2025.

As of the time of this report, Anjorin had made no public statement in response to the court’s ruling. The matter remains pending, with the interim order standing until the substantive motion is heard.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

This case is about a Lagos court moving to protect a one-year-old child from being dragged further into a public adult feud.

Justice Yetunde Adesanya’s interim order legally bars Lizzy Anjorin from posting photos of or editorials about Priscilla Ojo and Juma Jux’s son, Rakeem, across her social media accounts, a direct response to Anjorin’s unverified claims disputing the child’s parentage.

While the order is only interim, pending further hearings, its significance lies in the precedent it sets: that a long-running celebrity social media dispute has real legal consequences, and that a child, unable to consent to public scrutiny, now has explicit court protection from being used as a subject in it.
