The long-simmering rivalry between Nigerian rappers Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez took a fresh, personal turn this week after Odumodublvck accused his colleague of deliberately revealing a past sexual relationship with his girlfriend rather than letting her disclose it on her own terms.
In a series of posts on X on September 3, Odumodublvck alleged that Blaqbonez had reached out to him with the specific intention of telling him he had once been in a “friends with benefits” arrangement with the woman who is now Odumodublvck’s girlfriend, apparently unaware that Odumodublvck already knew.
The rapper framed the disclosure as a betrayal of the woman’s right to choose when and how to share her own history, asking pointedly why anyone else should get to make that decision for her.
Odumodublvck went further, alleging a pattern of intimidation, claiming Blaqbonez had threatened, bullied, and harassed his girlfriend, even as he continued reaching out over unrelated matters, such as Odumodublvck’s absence from a Jeriq show.
According to Odumodublvck, when he confronted Blaqbonez about the tension between them, Blaqbonez allegedly tied it back to the relationship, suggesting his anger stemmed from not knowing “what they used to be.”
