Former Nigerian Senator Dies
Former Senator representing Borno Central Senatorial District, Kaka Mallam Yale, has died at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital in Maiduguri, Borno State.
Yale reportedly passed away on Friday morning while receiving medical treatment at the hospital.
His death was confirmed by his son, Ibrahim Yale, who disclosed that the former lawmaker died on Friday.
Yale was a member of the All Nigeria Peoples Party and served as the senator for Borno Central between 2007 and 2011.
During his time in the National Assembly, he represented the interests of communities across Borno Central and took part in legislative activities during the period.
His death has brought an end to the life and political career of a former federal lawmaker who served the people of Borno State in the Senate.
