YouTube Takes Down Omoni Oboli’s ‘Love In Every Word’

Nollywood fans who were captivated by Omoni Oboli’s latest blockbuster, Love in Every Word, have been left in shock as YouTube removed the movie from its platform due to copyright infringement claims. 

The unexpected takedown from YouTube comes after the movie had already broken records, amassing an impressive 4.3 million views within just 72 hours of its release.

Released on March 7, 2025, Love in Every Word quickly became one of the fastest-growing Nollywood films on YouTube, attracting over 2 million views within its first 24 hours alone. 

The film’s compelling storyline, powerful performances, and the buzz surrounding Big Brother Naija star Bamike ‘Bam Bam’ Olawunmi-Adenibuyan’s role made it a must-watch for movie lovers. 

Starring alongside Nollywood’s Uzor Arukwe, Bam Bam’s soft-spoken yet emotionally gripping portrayal of love and vulnerability won the hearts of many.

The film’s removal from YouTube has now sparked widespread reactions from fans and industry insiders, with many questioning the reasons behind the copyright infringement claims. While the specifics of the dispute remain unclear, it is believed that ownership issues or unauthorized use of protected content may have led to YouTube’s enforcement of its strict intellectual property policies.

As fans eagerly await an official statement from Omoni Oboli or the film’s production team, many are hopeful that the copyright issues will be resolved, allowing the movie to be reinstated on YouTube or made available through alternative platforms.
