A fire outbreak has been reported at a section of the Office of the Head of Service of the Federation complex in Abuja.
Eyewitnesses disclosed that the fire was first observed around 8:20 a.m., when thick smoke began rising from a part of the structure, drawing attention from workers and passersby within the area.
The incident reportedly occurred at Section C of the building inside the Office of the Head of Service complex. Staff members who were present at the time were seen quickly evacuating the vicinity of the affected section while emergency responders were contacted to address the situation.

Officials from the media department of the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation confirmed the development. According to the office, the fire outbreak was restricted to Section C of the facility and emergency personnel were already on ground working to bring the situation under control.
Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the fire. An investigation is expected to begin once the flames are fully contained and the area is declared safe.
