Tinubu Arrives in Yola to Commission Major Infrastructure Projects in Adamawa

President Bola Tinubu on Monday touched down at the Yola International Airport at approximately 1:20 p.m. as part of his visit to Adamawa State for the commissioning of several projects delivered under the administration of Governor Ahmadu Fintiri.

According to reports by the News Agency of Nigeria, the President’s visit is focused on inaugurating a range of infrastructure initiatives completed by the state government.

Among the projects are model schools established across all 21 local government areas of Adamawa.

The educational facilities span pre-primary, primary, and junior secondary levels and are equipped with modern amenities, including sports complexes and enhanced learning infrastructure designed to improve the quality of education in the state.

The initiative is aimed at expanding access to functional educational institutions while providing students with a conducive environment for academic development.

In addition to the schools, the President is also set to commission an eight-lane underpass bridge located on Galadima Aminu Road, which connects Gimba to the state capital. The project is expected to ease traffic congestion and enhance transportation within the area.

Other projects scheduled for inauguration include a newly constructed multipurpose hall, a refurbished High Court building, a newly developed officers’ complex, and a new office complex within the Government House.

These facilities are intended to strengthen administrative operations and improve public service delivery in the state.

Following the commissioning ceremonies, President Tinubu is expected to hold meetings with senior government officials and traditional rulers in Adamawa to discuss issues of governance and development.

Reports also indicate that students, community members, and various stakeholders lined major roads in anticipation of the President’s arrival, demonstrating public interest and engagement in the day’s events.
