Indications have emerged that the management of Dangote Group has reached an understanding to allow workers at its refinery and petrochemical operations to join the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG).

According to sources familiar with the development, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) is currently being drafted for signature by both parties.

The sources further revealed that discussions are ongoing to set a two-week timeframe for the implementation of the MoU once it is signed.
