The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), under Operation Hadin Kai, has executed precision airstrikes on key Boko Haram hideouts in Tumbumma Baba and Chiralia, located in the southern Tumbuns of Borno State, following credible intelligence reports.
According to Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information at NAF Headquarters, the targeted locations were believed to be used by terrorists for storage and operational coordination.
The air raids reportedly dealt “direct hits” on the hideouts, disrupting planned attacks intended to sabotage Eid celebrations.
Several terrorists were neutralised in the offensive, while vital logistics and infrastructure were destroyed. Ejodame described the operation as a “pre-emptive action” that highlights the Nigerian Air Force’s ongoing commitment to protecting civilian lives and advancing national security.
