In a tantalizing glimpse into Ryan Murphy’s latest television venture, the teaser for Hulu’s upcoming legal drama All’s Fair has set the entertainment world abuzz, showcasing Kim Kardashian in a role that feels tailor-made for her evolving public persona.

Released on tuesday, the teaser introduces Kardashian as a ruthless, high-powered divorce lawyer navigating the cutthroat world of Los Angeles’ elite, surrounded by an ensemble cast that reads like a Hollywood who’s-who, including Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash-Betts, Sarah Paulson, Glenn Close, and Teyana Taylor

Billed as a “high-end, glossy, and sexy adult procedural,” All’s Fair marks Murphy’s first series under his new overall deal with Disney, following the expiration of his Netflix contract in 2023.

The show promises to blend the opulent drama of Dynasty with the corporate intrigue of Succession, a comparison teased by Naomi Watts in a recent interview with British Vogue. Set in an all-female law firm led by Glenn Close’s commanding character, the series positions Kardashian as the firm’s star attorney, described as “the most expensive divorce lawyer in the world.”

Her character owns a boutique practice that caters to the ultra-wealthy, handling high-stakes divorces with a blend of charm, cunning, and unrelenting ambition.

The teaser, though brief, is packed with Murphy’s signature flair: sleek visuals, sharp dialogue, and a pulsating score that underscores the series’ provocative tone. Kardashian’s character is seen striding confidently through a glass-walled office, her tailored suits and steely gaze signaling a departure from her reality TV roots.

A standout moment features her delivering a biting line to a client—rumored to be played by Matthew Noszka, with whom she filmed a wedding scene in Malibu earlier this year—hinting at the personal and professional entanglements that will drive the show’s narrative.

The teaser also offers glimpses of Watts and Nash-Betts, both Murphy veterans, as key players in the firm, their characters exuding a mix of camaraderie and rivalry. Close, playing the firm’s head, looms as a formidable presence, setting the stage for generational clashes and power struggles.

Murphy, who serves as writer, director, and executive producer, has assembled a powerhouse creative team, including writers Jon Robin Baitz and Joe Baken and executive producers Kris Jenner, Alexis Martin Woodall, and the starring quintet of Kardashian, Close, Watts, Nash-Betts, and Paulson.

The series also boasts a robust supporting cast, with Ed O’Neill as a former Hollywood studio head and Close’s husband, and Brooke Shields in a guest-starring role. Notably, Halle Berry was initially attached but exited due to scheduling conflicts, with Watts stepping in to replace her.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
For Kardashian, All’s Fair is more than a starring vehicle—it’s a chance to leverage her real-life pursuit of a legal career.

With All’s Fair, Ryan Murphy is betting big on a formula that’s worked for him before: bold casting and provocative storytelling.
