The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the release of the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results for private candidates (Second Series).
According to a statement by the Acting Head of Public Affairs, Moyosola Adesina, 67.55% of the 65,023 candidates who sat for the exam attained credit and above in at least five subjects. Specifically, 34,878 candidates (53.64%) obtained credit and above in five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
How to Check WAEC Results:
- Visit the official WAEC result checker portal: www.waecdirect.org
- Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number
- Input the 4-digit Examination Year (e.g., 2024)
- Select “Private Candidate Results” as the Examination Type
- Enter your e-PIN Voucher Number
- Input the Personal Identification Number (PIN) from your e-PIN
