MRS filling stations, backed by the Dangote Refinery, and other petrol stations across Nigeria have reduced their pump prices again.

A market survey by DAILY POST on Monday showed that MRS filling stations reduced the price of petrol from N1,260 to N1,210 per litre in Abuja and surrounding areas.

The latest adjustment represents a N50 reduction per litre by MRS.

Similarly, AA Rano and other filling stations along the Kubwa Expressway in Abuja reduced their petrol prices by N25 per litre to about N1,275 per litre.

The latest price cuts followed Dangote Refinery’s announcement last week that it had reduced the prices of petrol and Automotive Gas Oil (AGO).

Eight days earlier, MRS and other filling stations had also reduced their petrol prices by between N25 and N45 per litre.

The latest reductions are expected to further lower the cost of petrol for motorists in Abuja and other parts of the country.
