Singer Paul Okoye, also known as RudeBoy, has blamed his twin brother Peter Okoye (Mr. P) for the fraud case filed against their elder brother Jude Okoye by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
On Wednesday, the EFCC arraigned Jude Okoye, who formerly managed the defunct P-Square duo, on charges of laundering ₦1.38 billion, $1 million, and £34,537.59.
Jude, along with his company Northside Music Ltd, appeared before Justice Alexander Owoeye of the Federal High Court in Lagos, where he pleaded not guilty to the seven-count charge. He was remanded in Ikoyi correctional facility pending a bail hearing.
In a viral video recorded at the court premises on Friday, Paul vowed to secure Jude’s release.
“I support him because I know the truth,” Paul stated. “Peter is responsible for this. He is the one putting Jude through this ordeal, and I am here to bring him out. If Jude is guilty, then Peter and I are guilty too.”
This latest controversy has reignited public interest in the long-standing rift between the Okoye brothers.
