The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) has officially concluded its recruitment exercise, which began last year, and is set to issue appointment letters to successful candidates.

Announcing the development on Monday, NNPC’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye, emphasized that the process was conducted with “the utmost fairness, transparency, and rigour,” making it one of the most reputable recruitment exercises in the country.

“NNPC Limited is delighted to announce the successful conclusion of its recruitment exercise, which was conducted with the utmost fairness, transparency, and rigour, and is highly regarded as one of the best in the country. Following this completion, successful candidates will be receiving their appointment letters,” Soneye stated.

He expressed appreciation to all applicants who participated in the process and encouraged those who were not selected to look forward to future opportunities with the company.

“We express our sincere gratitude to all applicants who participated in the process. We are hopeful that those who were not selected this time will look forward to future opportunities with NNPC Limited. We continue to uphold our commitment to excellence and equal opportunity in our hiring processes as we strive to build a world-class energy company,” the statement concluded.

The recruitment process saw no fewer than 45,689 applicants take part in a computer-based aptitude test in their bid to secure employment at NNPC.
