He noted that the recognition on an international stage highlights the importance of continued investment in education and creating platforms for young talents to excel globally.

He further assured that the government is committed to supporting academic excellence through scholarships, mentorship, and greater access to quality educational resources. According to him, Nafisa’s success should serve as an inspiration for other students to embrace discipline and dedication in their pursuit of excellence.

Prof. Abba Adam, Yobe State’s Commissioner for Basic Education, praised Nafisa and her peers, referring to them as “Amazons” and symbols of perseverance. He stressed that their triumph represents not only personal achievement but also the collective advancement of a state rebuilding its education sector after enduring years of insurgency.

“Today, we are celebrating victory,” Prof. Adam remarked. “A victory of resilience, and a victory of a governor who believes in the power of education as the key to the future of his people and the state.”

In her speech, Nafisa expressed heartfelt gratitude to her parents, teachers, and the Nigerian government for their support. She pledged to use her success as a platform to inspire fellow students across the country. She encouraged Nigerian youths to embrace hard work, perseverance, and confidence in their ability to compete globally.
