Popular Nigerian musician Qdot has publicly addressed a traumatic armed robbery attack that left him fearing for his life, revealing details of the frightening incident that occurred at his residence in the early hours of September 28, 2025.

The artist, whose real name is Qudus Fakoya Oluwadamilare, was targeted alongside his DJ when armed assailants invaded his home around 2 a.m. In a candid series of posts shared on his Instagram story, the visibly shaken musician described the ordeal as “the most terrifying experience” of his life.

“I didn’t know if I would make it out alive,” Qdot wrote, offering his first public account of the incident that has sent shockwaves through Nigeria’s entertainment community. The gunmen reportedly made off with everything of value the musician owned. “They took everything valuable I owned, down to the last pin,” he stated, emphasizing the thoroughness of the robbery.

Despite the material losses, Qdot expressed profound gratitude for surviving the attack unharmed. “By the grace and mercy of God, I’m still alive, and I’m eternally grateful for that,” he said, striking a reflective tone that underscored the gravity of the situation. “They took everything valuable I owned, but they did not take my life.”

The singer acknowledged that the psychological impact of the robbery continues to weigh heavily on him. “I’m still traumatized and deeply shaken by what happened,” he admitted with striking honesty, revealing the emotional toll such violent encounters can leave on victims long after the physical danger has passed.

However, in a message aimed at reassuring his considerable fanbase, Qdot confirmed he is now in a secure location. “I want you all to know: I’m okay and safe now. I’m surrounded by love and support as I begin the long road to healing from this nightmare,” he wrote, acknowledging the outpouring of concern from supporters following news of the attack.

The musician concluded his statement with words of appreciation and determination: “Your support means more than words can express. I love you all. I will be back stronger and wiser.”

As of this report, no arrests have been announced in connection with the robbery, and it remains unclear whether local authorities have launched an investigation into the incident. The attack adds to growing concerns about security in Nigeria, where high-profile individuals have increasingly become targets of violent crime.

Qdot’s colleagues in the Nigerian music industry and fans across social media platforms have rallied around the artist, offering messages of support and relief that he emerged from the ordeal physically unscathed.
