According to a statement released in Ilorin by the Governor’s chief press secretary, Mr. Rafiu Ajakaye, the committee is mandated to conduct exclusive engagements with a wide range of stakeholders, including traditional institutions, to craft a Kwara-focused security framework that will bolster public protection.
The statement noted that the team is expected to deliver its findings to the governor within four weeks, after which the recommendations will undergo further review and implementation.
It added that the committee’s inputs are intended to “further enrich existing understanding of the nationwide security situations from local perspectives.”
